Louise Budgen

Louise is a qualified Paramedic and Queensland Ambulance First Responder.  She started her career in the UK, teaching individuals with complex needs and special education. After moving to Australia, Louise worked in a range of schools and educational settings, qualified as a paramedic and started training others in First Aid.

After many years of training people from all walks of life it became apparent that there was a need for more quality training in the outdoor sector, and that there were many companies out there simply to tick boxes and didn’t provide their students with a quality product. This was the start of Outdoor First Aid Training when Louise pledged to produce a new kind of first aid training. Engaging training, quality training, effective training, and training that encompassed all the trials and tribulations the Australian environment can throw at us.
